The project dealt with the Client’s expansion of its offices within an already occupied Building in which they had the 4th and 5th floor. The 3rd floor expansion was intended to create capacity for an additional 158 work points.
The floor was planned to benefit of the ability to be self-contained with the provision of meeting rooms, flex rooms, focus rooms, huddle spaces, reception area alongside the provision of copy points, kitchenette, coffee point and toilets. Additional IT infrastructure was installed through the provision of two Server Rooms at each side of the floor. The GC was selected via a Single Stage competitive tender with a Lump Sum contract. The project began in March 2020, but had to be put on hold for 8 weeks due to the site Handover constraint from the Landlord. Construction works started the 1st February 2021 and lasted for 14 weeks, being successfully completed on the 31st May 2021.
