16 Chart Street

The redevelopment and extension of an existing 1930s warehouse in Hoxton utilising CLT panels and glulam beams to to create new offices for Structural Engineers Heyne Tillett Steel.

The works included a side extension, addition storey, new central staircase and sawtooth roof delivering a large, open plan space for presentations, events and collective activity. The completed building reflects Heyne Tillett Steel’s approach to low-carbon structural design and commitment to retrofit and reuse.
